Along with our own programs, we partner with local schools, churches and clubs to help provide life improving opportunities.
It is our belief that programs supporting intangible and emotional needs have the greatest impact on children. We make sure that any program we assist or develop is based around our core principles:
HOPE – By providing project goods alongside guided leadership we can enable a child to declare “I CAN” complete a craft or activity. During our programs we put a strong emphasis on building the child up and providing a positive attitude towards everything we do.
OPPORTUNITY – Often our programs will require the child to step out of their comfort zone and engage in an activity they have never participated in. We provide mentorship and support to the child to help them overcome any fear from unfamiliarity. This continues to build confidence in the child and it fills our hearts when we can see a child transform from not wanting to participate to declare “I DID IT”
HAPPINESS – By providing unexpected experiences and the joy that it brings the children we are able to witness true happiness. The child will often express in their own words how “HAPPY” they are.
Overall we stay focused on communicating to the child and family that someone cares for them and will always be their friend.
We are in our 5th year of our annual Give the Gift Program. This is a unique program where we teach Children the gift of giving to one another. We partner with local schools and Boys & Girls Clubs in Martin and Palm Beach County.
Due to Covid-19 we wanted to do something to keep children engaged with hands on activities. We reached out to Kiwico and set up a weekly giveaway to the first 50 visitors on our website.
We believe in educating families and children in sustainable gardening. We have a passion for equipping our local communities to grow food in their schools and homes.
We support school electives that teach students the importance of plants and there role in our lives. The basic fundamentals taught in these programs can leave a lasting impact on children and are critical to educating the next generation on how we get our food.
We have access to multiple fishing boats to introduce children to their first fishing experience. Chaperones accompany the children. On board mates teach them about fishing. We conclude the day with a picnic lunch and awards ceremony.
This past year we donated to the following organizations: Equine Rescue, Bush Wildlife Sanctuary, El Sol, Pet Cottage/Jupiter, Molly’s House, 4 C’s, Treasure Coast Humane Society, and CROS Ministries.
