BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Caitlyn Rogers

Managing Director

I love working with children and being able to do my part in the world to make it a better place. If I can truly touch just one person’s life I am happy!

I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Degree in Business Management and a Major in Hospitality. The last few years with Rocking Horse Foundation have greatly impacted my life. I look forward to our programs, especially our annual “Give the Gift” program that we host throughout the holiday season. Seeing all of those HUGE smiles on children’s faces and receiving those BIG hugs is what it’s all about! It’s a lot of work behind the scenes but it is all worth it!

In 2019, I became the Managing Director of Services for the Rocking Horse Foundation. I now get to utilize all of my event planning skills and passion for kids and put them both to work, reaching out to the community and planning upcoming projects and programs all while working with kids and making them happy! I look forward to the future of Rocking Horse Foundation and all of the good it will continue to bring to the community and children and families in need!

I am a proud Aunt to three (soon to be four) and a mommy to my fur baby LuLu! I love to keep busy and active doing projects around the house! I have a passion for the outdoors, fishing, biking, baking, cooking, and working out staying healthy and happy!

Beverly Holmes

Principal Member

Beverly graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and worked 45 years in Configuration Management in the aerospace industry at both Pratt & Whitney and Belcan Engineering.

She has served on the Board of Directors for Rockinghorse Foundation since 2000 in various capacities, and has helped with the preparation and distribution of Christmas toys for the annual “Give the Gift” project. She has volunteered for the associated parties at local Boys and Girls Clubs helping children decorate cookies and paint ornaments. Christmas is a busy time of year, but the joy we bring children is so worth it. For many, our gift may be the only one they receive.

Bev wants to contribute to the further development of the Rockinghorse Foundation and is always looking for more ways to make a difference in her community.
Bev lives in retirement in Palm City with her 30 year old macaw “Bandit”. She loves being on the water, boating or fishing, and meeting friends for picnic lunches at one of the beautiful waterfront parks.

In addition the rewarding lessons learned from the elderly while working at Miracle Ear as a board certified Hearing Aid Specialist.

In 2019 Joann joined the the Rocking Horse Foundation. Doyle’s interest and participation in the foundation is personal, due in part as it is a family foundation and shares the same values and principles of her own.

“I look forward to the future of Rocking Horse Foundation and being part of the opportunities we offer to those in need.”

A Florida native, Joann and her husband spend their time both in Florida and North Carolina. She has a beautiful stepdaughter, a successful stepson and three amazing grandchildren.

Being a part of Rocking Horse Foundation is close to her heart. She’s always been involved in giving back within her community and loves nothing more than putting a smile on someone’s face. She brings her innovative ideas and loving nature to Rocking Horse Foundation, hoping to help it continue to grow into a pillar in Palm Beach and Martin counties.

Steve Chaszar

Principal Member

Steve grew up in Grosse Ile, Michigan, an island town east of Detroit. Surrounded by water, Steve became interested in boating at an early age. After high school, he started working for a nearby powerboat service center. While employed there he had the opportunity to work on all phases of boating, from initial construction to operation, maintenance, and repair. He spent seven years of hands-on studying and learning the intricacies of each discipline.

In 1993 Steve moved to Florida and joined A&J Boat Works in Stuart, FL as a technician. Steve quickly showed expertise and knowledge of the business.

Today Steve serves as the General Manager of A&J Boat Works. Steve remembers those who mentored him at a young age, generously giving their time, sharing knowledge and experience. As a result, Steve freely volunteers his time to educate young people about boating and fishing.
