Early learning can provide big rewards

Starting Young

You’re never too young to learn.
Teaching the basics of growing a living thing from a seed can provide an amazing and exciting experience.  Schools with Horticulture electives can get students interested early, quickly and easily in the area of vegetable gardening by providing them the basic fundamentals of seed growth.

Feeding Others

Like fishing, a vegetable gardener can raise vegetables continuously for the family, and even possibly for a community.

Our Goal to Support Agroscience

Rocking Horse Foundation has been reaching out to schools and other organizations teaching agriscience in an effort to support their program with equipment, facilities, and tools that enhance the teaching experience but are beyond allocated budgets.  Our premier start up project in this sector is currently on hold due to the Covid pandemic.  It is the installation at a local middle school of a teaching greenhouse along with accessories which can benefit the greenhouse operation.  Teaching from seed to edible fresh and delicious vegetables is attainable within a semester and the student can take this knowledge home and start a backyard garden.  Wow, that’s exciting.
